Thank you for your comment. In fact, in my post I don’t criticize the amount of compute resources expended but quite the opposite, as I strongly believe that investing on computing power is a safe bet.

Putting aside the lack of reproducibility and availability of the systems (already an important issue as it prevents from actual inspection), the main concerns are about the experimental setting and generalization, which raise some questions about the scientific validity of the claims.
